Pug Overload

Happy Monday. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

We posted last week that we were going to attend PugFair at Stonelick State Park. WRONG!!! We didn't get to attend the festivities at all! Apparently Mom thought we would be too rowdy and ill-mannered so we had to stay home. She did attend the party and from the smells on her shoes and jeans, what a party it was!

She said her head was spinning from Pug cuteness. She's never seen so many Pugs in one place. There were all different sizes ranging from a four-week old baby to a few seniors. Lots of other dogs attended the party too - it wasn't just for Pugs but the event did benefit Ohio Pug Rescue. The venue for the festivities was really nice too. Lots of room for the Pugs to walk around, play, etc. There even was a lake with a beach!

Mom took as many pictures as she could until the batteries died in her camera. Unfortunately, there are no pictures of the parade. What a hoot it was though!!! The belle of the parade was Bella and her owner (Peace!). There were two corgi's and two white poodles who also rode on the head float with them. The rest of the contestants paraded behind. There were pugs dressed as lobsters, convicts, prom dates, pumpkins, bananas, monkeys, bumblebees, clowns... so many more!!! Absolutely hysterical!

We've posted lots of pictures from the shindig. Enjoy all this smooshy-face Pug cuteness!!!

Love love your blog! We were so happy to have you at Pugfair. Bella and I had a great time but both of us are exhausted still!! Your dog treats are awesome. As tired as Bella was after the PugFair festivities, she snarfed the "JR's" I gave her in 2 seconds and begged for more!!! She'll get some more tonight..we have to watch our girlish figures you know! Keep PugFair in mind for next year, we'll be getting back to vendors as soon as we finalize a date!!

What a pugnaciously good time that must have been. And you get to enjoy all the great pictures without having to get up off the couch. Thanks for sharing.
