Our kids are back in school..... sigh.
That's the reason we didn't post every day last week. We were too busy getting our kids ready for school. Our little girl got to ride the big yellow bus for the first time on her way to first grade. It was really exciting seeing her with her backpack waving and smiling.
Our days are going to be lonely without them. The boys plan on practicing their wrestling moves to pass the time. I think I am going to have to find a nice sunbeam to lay in and catch a wink or two until I hear the rumble of the school bus coming up the road.
We sure do miss our kids when they are gone.

Back to school is a exciting time for kids, but a sad time for dogs, but I'm sure you will adjust to their schedule and give them plenty of loves when they get home.

At least you've got plans as to how to spend your days! (You might want to hit your humans up for some extra toys... You know... To help ward off loneliness.)

It's much quieter at our house right now, too. We still have a 2 year old, though!
Oh yeah, those sunbeams are a dachshund delight.
Did your kids get back to school shoes?? Those things pick up some super scents, you know.
You could be really naughty and HIDE their shoes so they can't leave tomorrow morning. hehehe
Keep your ears tuned for the sound of the big Yellow Bus... it will come back sooner than you thing.
It must be awfully quiet there with those little ones gone. Me and Lily like wrestling too.

Back to school... awww! I hope the babies enjoy riding on the school bus!
We used to be sad this time of year, because our Rama taught first grade...but now she's retired and home w/ us all the time-YAY!!
Rama says, "First Graders Rock!"
Hope your first grader has a wonderful yeart.
My brother and sister are grown ups, so I kind of like when school starts because I get to say hi to the kids at the bus stops.

Those bipeds are the greatest fun. Take a long nap and you will be ready for them when they get home.
Just rest up for a big hello after school. In a few days my mom will be working more too. I'll miss those lazy morning walkies.
Perhaps it's time for another dog. :)
