We're back with a Monday Funny

Yep! That's his pet skunk!

Our little girl attended a barnyard themed birthday party yesterday - complete with petting zoo and pony rides. A tortoise and a black and white chicken roamed the yard freely all during the party. There were goats, chickens, rabbits, ducks, ponies and this skunk. The skunk was rescued from a fur trader who could not use his pelt because his stripe was not straight down his back. We'd love to chase this guy around the yard since we have been assured that he is de-scented. Doesn't he look like fun?!? His owner sang funny songs and told lots of jokes that the kids just loved too.

We cannot understand why we weren't allowed to attend the party too. Everyone seems to think we would have caused mass chaos. They at least could have given us a chance. Maybe next time!

(We wonder if skunk tastes like chicken?)

Whoa!!! You got to play with a skunk? That's totally awesome! I love skunks, especially the way they smell. Too bad your skunk doesn't smell anymore.

Awww, sorry you didn't get to play chase with the skunk! I bet they played "human games" at the party but didn't think once about playing chase the critters. Oh, how we all would love to chase many of them! ~Twix

I just found your blog and decided to "follow" you. :-)

Luckily, Beckett and Meadow (my doxies) haven't found any skunks yet... but they sure are keeping the chipmunks in our hard running scared!!

Thank goodness his stripe was crooked.....I don't want to get skunked! But I might like playing with a de-skunked one! BOL

I hear skunks can make very sweet pets quite easily. Isn't that funny for a wild animal?

Mom has always warned me about critters such as those skunks. I have never had the pleasure unfortunately. But I do like chicken so I would really like to meet up with one.

Huh?

Oh, Mom says if I do meet up with one that I will be camping outdoors every night till the smell goes away.

(She acts like that is a bad thing! But I would miss my big boy bed)

Woofs and smelly slobbers,
Chester
