A Home Invasion

What's a dog to do?

Last night we had a visitor in our house. I had no idea my abode had even been breached. Slept straight through the night without even a sense of an intrusion.

I woke up this morning to squeals of excitement from my little girl. Apparently, she had been visited by a fairy who takes teeth. Left her with a piece of paper that she quickly shoved into her bank shaped like a pink pig squealing with excited utters of "I got more money for our Disney trip!"

No one is making a big deal about this "incident". Going about their business like normal. Between you and me, I have the bejeebies scared out of me! Do they really think it is okay for a little creature to infiltrate our home? AND SHE TAKES TEETH!!!

I am pretty partial to my chompers. They have so many uses. They work wonderfully chomping Tuckers ears and legs. They also are great for chewing kibble and mom's treats. Not to mention how handsome I look with them when I smile.

This whole visit has left me shaking from the tip of my nose to the bottoms of my feet and everywhere in between. I'm a little dude and try very hard to be brave (most of the time). This "incident" has left me rattled.

I think I will burrow under a blanket for a while and hope all this craziness goes away.

Have a great weekend everyone!

There are home invaders who steal TEETH? What kind of crazies are they? We can see stealing bones or toys, but teeth. No way!

I'm partial to my teeth too, but if I could get a cookie for every one of them, I would seriously consider a trade. Mind you, I'm not very good at foresight or the notion of consequences.

Wow - the said "tooth thief" would go broke in our house!
Thanfully, no such culprit has been detected in our area - phew!
We do appreciate the heads up though, so we can be on full lert!

We liked your worried looking face Oscar in those pictures!
We think you are right to be worried about visits from the tooth fairy!
We can offer some reassurance however as we do not think the tooth fairy visits dogs.
As you say we do need our teeth for everyday activities!
At least when humans are young, the visits through the night from such things as tooth faires are silent.
We had an older human brother home for a wedding recently. We cannot begin to tell you how disconcerting it was to be woken up in the wee small hours by humans coming and going!!!
You think it is bad now - just wait till they grow up - the stress is unbelievable!
Have a lovely weekend.
love

Don't feel bad for not hearing the Tooth Fairy. She apparently flys, so there would be no foot steps to hear. You have done good to bring this out in the open though, as many dogs don't know about her. Good work!

Hi Oscar, Oh CATS! I can't believe it. One more thing for us to worry about. As if Vacula wasn't enough!!!! I'm thinking that they might be in cahoots. Vacula sucks out the teeth and this FAIRY thing steals them. I would be really worried if mom wasn't home now.
You should explain to your little girl that it is better to keep teeth in your mouth and just baby sit for money. I just got 30 dollars for taking care of dad while mom was gone. It is hard work, but I need all my teeth to chew on cow hooves and other grrrreat stuff.

Hi little friends.

Sorry we haven't been around in awhile....it's Mommy's fault not mine. I would be scared with somebody snook into my house uf ut they did leave money.

I read that somebody over there is giving kisses now and I would love one. I was a rescue and nobody loved me until DROH found me and then Mommy adopted me. Now I can't give or receive enough of them.

I'm going to be doing my DWB doggies with spring flowers post next weekend so if you have a pic of one or all of you with flowers please send it to Mommy. I would love to included you in my post.

I think if someone tried to steal my teeth while I was sleeping, I'd wake right up and bite him!
