Mucho Gracias!

We have some of the best friends ever! What a bunch of lucky dogs we are!

We have made friends in all shapes and sizes since we have been blogging. Our backyard has literally grown to encompass the world. We have friends all over the earth now - and that is super cool! We received this beautiful award from our two tiniest friends, Lexus and Bentley at Munchkin Memoirs. These sweet and caring chihuahuas have hearts of gold. Visit their blog and let them know we sent you if you haven't already met them.

The only rule for this award is that to accept it, display it proudly on your blog for all the bloggy world to see your greatness and/or pass it on to other bloggers as you see fit..."

We decided that if you take the time to read our blog, then you are deserving! Some days we have a lot to say and others, not too much. We appreciate all of our faithful readers and feel you are deserving of this treasure. Feel free to take it and display it proudly. Pass it on to those you feel are well-deserving too. Make sure you visit Lexus and Bentley though. They are true gems!

Lucky Friday

Who knew how wonderful today was going to be when we woke up this morning. The day started out as usual... Oscar had to pounce on top of Mom to wake her up. Tink stood next to the bed heavy breathing in Moms face and Tucker huffed in her face, just for good measure.

The old girl finally lugged herself out of bed to take us outside to tackle our morning ritual of "watering the lawn." We made our way off our deck into the lawn when we all put on the brakes. It was like we were a doggie train piling into each other.

Overnight a town was built in our yard!

Mom told us to stay back and take care of business in another part of the yard but our curiosity was piqued. What were these things and who built them?

As we were walking back toward the house, something shiny caught our eye. We've heard stories but could it actually be true? Was there really a leprechaun and a pot of gold in our backyard?

As quick as a flash that sparkle was gone. The town remains so we are going to keep our eyes open for the return of the little man in tights. Mom said she is going to buy a lottery ticket, just in case.

Later, after Mom had drank half a pot of coffee and was checking her emails she came across this. Some of the coolest kids on the block, Life with Dogs, have given us their illustrious "Gold Hydrant Award". These crazy kids from Vermont make us laugh so hard our tummies hurt! We are humbled and thank you guys so much for thinking of us.

What a wonderful way to slide into the weekend.
We are some truly lucky dogs. We're hoping that all of our friends have a little bit of luck this weekend too. Be safe!

On official duty

Tinkerbell, Oscar and Tucker (and Taz the cat) reporting for duty.

We have been handed a mission and have accepted it. Today we are official members of P.A.W.S. (Pooches Actively Working Society).

Our big girl is having surgery today to remove a few teeth. These teeth are supposed to make you smart so we don't quite understand why they would need to be removed but nonetheless, she is at the oral surgeon getting her wisdom teeth removed as we post this.

Our mission you ask?
We have been asked to provide security, love, comfort and lots of ice cream! Colonel Tinkerbell is securing the bedroom and making sure pillows are fluffed and blankets are ready. Private Oscar has slippers and pajamas ready upon arrival. Taz (yes, we had to include the crazy cat in our mission. Sometimes he can be useful) is warming a spot near the pillows and Sargent Tucker has secured the ice cream and videos.

Upon arrival, we will provide love, snuggles and affection as needed.

(Okay, the P.A.W.S. Society really doesn't officially exist. We kinda made it up and tried to make an official-looking badge to go with the official title. Some days, we do go above and beyond and felt that today we were earning our stripes. Feel
free to take our badge and proudly display it on those days when you go above and beyond your normal dogness. You all deserve it so go ahead! It's free and it's yours!)

Who turned on the heat?

Our temperatures have gone from cold, winter weather to setting temperature highs for our area. Where did Spring go and who turned on the heat? Our family decided, after much persistent panting in their faces, that it was time to turn on the air conditioning in the house. Ahhhhh. Our boy Tucker decided he needed all the cold air for himself.

Vent Hog!
We're looking forward to cooler but more enjoyable temperatures the rest of the week.

Don't you just love an unexpected present? We definitely do! It's like a birthday or holiday all over again. We would like to thank our friend Samantha at
GoldenSamantha for thinking of us and passing on this wonderful award.

P.S. We think you are pretty cool too!

And miles to go before we sleep...

So much to blog about today so let's jump right into it with all twelve of our feet and get going!

First of all... Happy Earth Day!

We're not going to bombard you with all the ways you can reduce your carbon footprints. We're sure you are hearing it everywhere you turn today. We are just offering up some easy canine suggestions:

1. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle

2. Use biodegradable doggie poo bags

3. Buy organic

See? Wasn't that pretty harmless and so easy to do?

Next, we would like to make a clarification about our post yesterday regarding McDonald's new burger. We NEVER said we have actually eaten a burger from McDonald's. In fact, our mom "doesn't shop there" unless our littlest girl deems it absolutely necessary. We've never eaten a burger or tasted a french fry (but not from lack of trying). We are ubber jealous of Mango for getting to eat the fries. Lucky Dog!!! We just thought it would be really cool if they named the new b
urger after one of us since we are really cool dogs. A dogs allowed to dream!

Now, to the good stuff. We have been given this wonderful award from our friend Moose at Dogtalk and our friends Baby Rocket Dog and Hootie. These guys are awesome and we encourage everyone to go check out their blogs.

This wonderful award is given as a dedication for those who love blogging activity and love to encourage friendships through blogging.

The rules are:

~ We must put the award in one post as soon as we receive it.
~ We must not forget to mention the dog(s) who gave us the award

~ We must answer the Awards question by writing the reason why we love blogging

~ And finally, we must tag and distribute the Award to as many friends as we like.

(Must remember to notify the awardees and put their links in our post)

So, our reason for blogging and why we love it. Hmmm......
We would have to say the real reason we love to blog is because we are mouthy and opinionated and feel this is a great way to share the trials, tribulations ups and downs and everywhere in between in our lives. We started our blog as a branch for our moms dog treat business but we quickly took over. We LOVE being able to poke fun at each other, share our crazy quirks and habits and just voice ourselves. We are three lucky dogs! Life is an adventure and we enjoy sharing our adventures with all our friends. We have made so many friends via our blog! We would never have been able to meet so many cool doggies throughout the world had it not been for this incredible forum. Friends... Family... Fun! That sums it all up. Thanks everyone and keep your comments coming. We enjoy each and every one.

We want to pass this award on to ANY DOG OR BLOGGER who has not received it yet. You are all deserving so grab it and go! Share your reasons for your love of blogging and let us know when you make your post. We want to hear all your crazy reasons too!

Happy Earth Day everyone.

We're Winners

Look at us! We have been humbled once again.

They like us! They really like us!

Blog Awards Winner

We'd like to thank our managers (mom and dad) and our personal assistants (our kids) for making this award possible. Without the use of their computer, we would not be able to efficiently run our blog.

(We give no kudos to that crazy cat Taz. We're trying very hard to forget his blog hacking ways.)

We'd like to thank our followers and fans of our blog. You're following keeps us blogging whenever all we really want to do it nap. We're sure there are a million other animals/people we should be thanking but we are simply way too excited and cannot remember.

Most importantly... does this award come with treats?

We need naps now.

We Got Mail

We're a few days late to post this. It has been a very hectic week and honestly, we have been glued to the events going on over at the Mango-minster. Such excitement!

Our big thanks go out to Mason Dixie and her mom for "Pawing it Forward".

We were so excited when we got a box in the mail addressed to US!
We never get mail!

Oscar and Tucker had to check it out first.

Then I checked it out.
Notice that Tucker and his big melon head is trying

to get Mom's attention while she is trying to take my picture.
How rude!

Look at Mom teasing us!
Just bust open the bag already, will ya!

Ahhhh!!! Delicious and quite pretty too.
Where's the Tinkerbell cookie you ask?
We ate it, of course!

Thanks again Mason. You are one cool dog!

Skeletons in our Closet

Thank you Chester for passing on this award. This "baring of the soul" was not easy for us to do. We're not very good at showing our weaknesses and bad habits - we have waaaayyyy tooooo many skeletons in our closets. Hopefully, you will all still love us after reading our post. Then I shall pass the torch to 7 others per award rules.

Here's the rules: "When accepting this auspicious award, you must write a post bragging about it, including the name of the misguided soul who thinks you deserve such acclaim, and link back to said person so everyone knows he or she is real. Choose a minimum of 7 blogs that you find brilliant in content or design. Or improvise by including bloggers who have no idea who you are because you don’t have 7 friends. Show the 7 random victims’ names and links and leave a harassing comment informing them that they were prized with “Honest Weblog”. Well, there’s no prize, but they can keep the nifty icon. List at least ten honest things about yourself. Then, pass it on!

Ready of not, here we go!

1. Tucker - I was the puppy no one wanted.

2. Oscar and Tucker - we are truly not brave (rabbits scare us)

3. Tinkerbell - I snore... a lot

4. Oscar - I'm a gooser. Don't stand near the sofa or your gonna get a nose in your crotch.

5. Tucker - I'm a couch pooper. I like to poop under the sofa when no one is looking. The smell always gives me away though.

6. Tinkerbell - I am a bad girl when not on my leash. I run away and make my family chase after me.

7. Tucker - I am a garbage picker. I especially love used q-tips and used tissues. I also love to steal Barbie dolls and drag them through the house by their hair.

8. Oscar - I am the most gassy of the three of us. I like to snuggle under blankets and let them go. Lift the blanket at your own risk.

9. Tinkerbell - I like to roll in deer poo or any other smelly pile of poo I can find.

10. We are very spoiled and couldn't survive a day outside on our own.

Well, we've decided to pass this on to a few of our friends (hopefully, you will still be our friends after this) and a few we haven't had the honor of meeting formally yet. We just hunted you down via other blogs like the dogs that you are!

We actually picked 8 to send this to. So, here are our choices:

Martha and Bailey
Lois Lane
Bolo
Scampi and Kira
Cooper and Carly
Deefor and Arrow
Sophie, Dixie and Harley
MJ

If you have already received this award... Lucky Dog!!!
